The rudest of welcomes has unfortunately struck us back here in Portland. We returned late last night from big, bad New York City only to have Fritz & Victoria’s car broken into at the Fred Meyer on Lombard and Interstate a few hours ago.
Fritz’s latptop, external hard drive, digital & analog cameras including exposed film from the last month … all stolen from the trunk. This is all of his work, including backups of that work, from the last several years. Is there a word for the combination of murderous rage, stomach-wrenching disgust and utter despair when your work disappears?
In the end, who cares about the hardware: we just want our work back.
