Oil up your chain, pump up your tires, hop on your bike and ride down to Spirit of 77 tomorrow night for the airing of Fast Break (stops for berries on the side of the road are encouraged).
Join us this Friday for a rare FREE screening of the only locally filmed documentary on the championship year of the Portland Trail Blazers, Fast Break.
Filmed by Don Zavin and released in 1978, the movie screened for a short run before failing to secure national distribution. Aside from a landmark screening in 2009, the film hasn’t been shown in Portland since. A small amount of DVDs of the film were graciously donated to us by Matt Love, and we’ll be giving them out while they last after the film.
